Store Policies

Accepted Methods of Payment: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Shipping: We currently ship ground to the continental US 48 States. There is an additional charge to ship air to Alaska or Hawaii.

Shipping Time: The time needed to ship merchandise will vary depending on the shipment's location and the particular time of year. Customers should expect a 7-18 day delivery time. Next Day or Second Day Air could still be delayed.

Shipping Methods: Merchandise will be shipped using Ground Service where possible. In addition, some items may be shipped directly from the manufacturer to customers.

In Stock:
Product is in stock in our warehouse and ready for immediate shipment. In rare circumstances, we may sell out of a popular item in the brief period between the times you place the order and when the product is shipped, in which case you will be notified within the next business day. All "In Stock" items will ship without delay; all back-ordered items will ship as soon as possible at no additional charge.

Item Count Quantity:
Product is in stock in our warehouse and ready for immediate shipment, but there are only a few items remaining. If a product you're considering has this tag, you may want to order quickly before we run out.

Drop Ship:
Product is shipped directly from the manufacturer and is not an in-stock warehouse item. Depending on the product and the shipping destination, drop ship products may take anywhere from a few days to 18 days approx. to arrive.
Items that are shipped by freight carrier to a home or residential address are subject to a residential delivery fee from the freight company, these fees are not included in our shipping prices. Residential delivery fees range from $60.00-$100.00 and are collected by the freight carrier. To avoid a residential delivery charge you can choose to have your order shipped to a commercial address when the order is placed, or you can make arrangements to pick your order up from the trucking terminal when they call for delivery arrangements. NOTE: The residential delivery fee only covers the shipping to a residential address.  This fee does not include inside delivery or any other special shipping request. Freight carriers will charge extra for all requests other than having the product in the truck at the address the customer has specified. Drop ship items are not eligible for return unless defective and with prior return approval.

Damaged Shipments Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.

Manufacturers Defects If a product appears to have a manufacture’s defect, email our Customer Service department for instructions. Do not return products to us without first contacting us to receive instructions. If an item is to be returned to us due to manufactures defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package.

*PLEASE NOTE: You may return items purchased from us within 15 days of receipt for a refund of the original purchase price, less shipping cost. A 20% restocking fee is deducted from your credit, unless the item you are returning was damaged upon original receipt or we shipped the incorrect product. we will only reimburse the return shipping cost if the item was damaged, incorrectly shipped, or does not work. Any product exchange will be subject to product availability.

Upon receipt of your return merchandise, credit will be processed to the original credit card charged.

Return Merchandise Policy. Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department. You have 30 days from the ship date to receive refunds. You must email the refund request to returns@smemp.com (with "RETURN" in the subject field) at which time the return authorization number (RA#) with return instructions will be sent to you. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package. Products being returned must have a RA# issued before returned. Closeouts, discontinued, glass items, electrical items, tents, gazebos, screen houses, emergency related items, are non-refundable or returnable.

If you received a different product than initially purchased, the item must be returned with the following:

· All original contents (product, manuals, instructions, etc.)

· Original packaging

· Original invoice or receipt

Once a return is authorized by our return department you should:

  1. Return the item to the address given to you by our return department.
  2. Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box or package.
  3. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We can not be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.

We may refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. You are responsible for all freight charges plus a 20% restocking fee on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from us.
